Play across five or more poker variants at 9y888
The world's most popular poker variant. Each player receives two hole cards and must build the best possible hand using five community cards. 9y888 keeps more tables running for this game than any other.
An exciting twist on Texas Hold'em — each player receives four hole cards and must make their best hand using exactly two hole cards and three community cards. In the Hi-Lo variant, the pot is split between the highest and lowest qualifying hands.
Played with a 36-card deck — cards 2 through 5 are removed. In this variant, a Flush ranks higher than a Full House. The fast-paced nature of this game makes it a firm favourite among experienced players.
There are no community cards — each player receives seven cards of their own, three face-up and the rest face-down. In this classic variant, memory and observation are absolutely essential.
Solo poker — no opponents, just you against the machine. Three variants are available: Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, and Double Bonus. With an RTP of 99%+, the risk is relatively low.
Play poker in real time with a live dealer. Caribbean Stud Poker, Three Card Poker, and Casino Hold'em — all streamed live directly from the studio.

The Button acts last — you get to see everyone else's moves before making yours. Professional poker players play 30–40% more hands from the Button position for exactly this reason.
Poker is the only casino game where you play against other players, not the house. That means skill and knowledge can genuinely give you an edge over time — something no other game offers. 9y888's Supernova Poker room was built with exactly that in mind.
9y888's poker room is built with Bangladeshi players in mind. The interface and support are available in Bangla, and payments are accepted via bKash and Nagad — making the whole experience feel familiar. Language barriers are a common frustration on international poker sites, but at 9y888, that's simply not an issue.
The most important feature of Supernova Poker is its commitment to fair play. 9y888's Random Number Generator (RNG) is certified — every card dealt is completely random. Bots are strictly prohibited, and advanced technology is in place to detect and remove them.
9y888 offers micro-stake tables specifically for new players, where buy-ins are kept very low. You can start with a ৳10–৳20 buy-in. Seasoned players recommend practising at these tables first before gradually moving up to higher levels.
9y888's poker room features a Rakeback system that rewards regular players. Pay a set amount of Rake each month and get a portion back. The higher your VIP tier, the higher your Rakeback percentage.
Playing poker on mobile is a seamless experience at 9y888. A fully functional poker client is available on both Android and iOS, with table layouts that automatically adapt to your screen size. Multi-tabling is also supported — experienced players can manage two or three tables simultaneously.
9y888 offers a dedicated tutorial mode for learning Texas Hold'em. You can practice up to 200 hands without real money, and after each hand you'll receive hints highlighting what you did wrong and what you should have done instead — a fantastic learning tool for beginners.
One of the best things about playing poker at 9y888 is the social experience. You can chat at the table and use emojis during play. Many Bangladeshi players have made friends here and now regularly play together at private tables.
There are a few fundamental principles to keep in mind for success in Texas Hold'em. First, starting hand selection — you shouldn't play every hand. AA, KK, QQ, and AK are premium hands that call for aggressive play. 72o (Seven-Two offsuit) is the worst hand in poker — fold it.
Second, use position. The Button gives you maximum information, so you can play a much wider range from there. Playing weak hands from Early Position is the most costly mistake beginners make.
Third, understand Pot Odds. Before calling, calculate how much is in the pot, how much the call costs, and your chances of winning the hand. If your odds of winning are around 33% and the Pot Odds are 3:1, the call is justified.
Fourth, Bankroll Management. Swings are a natural part of poker. You should never risk more than 5% of your total bankroll in a single session. At 9y888, the smart move is to start at low buy-in tables and build your way up gradually.
Fifth, avoid Tilt. After a Bad Beat, don't let emotions push you into placing bigger bets. 9y888 lets you set session limits — you can be automatically logged out after reaching a set loss threshold.
How to get started with Poker at 9y888
Register at 9y888 and start in Tutorial Mode. You get 200 hands of free practice — don't move to real money until you're confident with the rules.
Start at the ৳5/৳10 blind Micro tables. A ৳200 buy-in gives you plenty of hands to practice with. The best way to learn poker is to play more hands at lower risk.
Start with only AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AKs, and AQs. Learn to fold weak hands without hesitation. That discipline is what keeps you ahead in the long run.
Play more hands from the Button or late position, and stay tight in early position. This simple rule alone will save you a lot of unnecessary losses.
Join 9y888's Sunday Freeroll tournament at no cost. The pressure and pace of tournament poker are very different from cash games — getting that experience for free is a smart move.
Use 9y888's session limit feature to stay in control. Take a break after a set time or loss threshold — playing poker when you're tired or anxious is a costly mistake.
A 3-Bet is when you Re-Raise after an opponent's Open Raise. It's not just for strong hands — it can also be used as a strategic Bluff. 3-Bets are most effective from the Button and Blinds positions.
Online poker has no physical tells, but you can still read Betting Patterns. Pay close attention to how quickly opponents call or raise, and the sizing patterns behind their bets.
Use the "Rule of 2 and 4" to quickly estimate your hand's winning odds. On the Flop, multiply your Outs by 4 for a close approximation of your Equity through to the River.
In Cash Games, never keep more than 5% of your total poker bankroll at a single table. For Tournaments, keep your buy-in within 2% of your bankroll. Stick to these rules and you'll never be completely knocked out of the game.
Rather than trying to put your opponent on one specific hand, think in terms of their full range. Build a complete picture of which hands they might raise from any given position.
